Photoshoot (2): Making of the garment + Some changes to the plan
Here is the materials (trash I gathered): The process of making the garment: Originally, I wanted to spray paint it to show change gradually throughout the photos, but I decided to make the back cover (the one with the abandoned building background) monochrome. With this change, I also decided to keep the garment black (acrylic paint) and focus on changing the background. Here is the final plan for this photoshoot: After I thought a little more, I decided to just cover it with black plastic bags so that I don’t have to wait for it to dry and it will also give more texture.

Mini-photoshoot (1): Behind-the-scenes + Thoughts
The main aim of this mini-photoshoot was to have achieve 2 landscape (portrait) pictures that are different from each other, and many pictures of different products. Challenges: I didn’t encounter too many challenges and everything went more smoother than I thought, however, one challenge was that many of my landscape photos were off-balanced. Because many of them I took on the mountain, it was difficult for the photos to be straight. But, I with the help of my parents, I was able to take straight photos. Did anything go different from the plan? I didn’t have the most solid plan, but I did have a goal in mind, so there…

Risk assessment
Creating a magazine will obviously come with many, many challenges. In this post, I will talk about some of my biggest concerns and some solutions if they really do happen, although I hope they won’t. Potential solutions: I will either make the garment extremely fast so that the photoshoot can take place before the snow melts or I can try to go slow and wait for the next snow and do the photoshoot then. Personally, I want to try to hurry so that I can do this photoshoot before the snow melts because I have everything else planned (design, location, etc). 2. Editing problems: The overall vibe of my magazine…

Planning: Budget + Calender
Budget: I want my budget to be as low as possible, and for that to be possible, I won’t buy anything unless necessary. Materials needed: I already have most of these material, but here is the budget if I needed to buy them again. I searched these items up on eMAG. Because I only have 3 photoshoots in total and use products that I already have, my budget will be way lower. Here is a more realistic budget for a magazine photoshoot: Schedule: For the date, I wanted to do the outdoor photoshoot on a clear and sunny day so I took a look at the weather app to see…

Photoshoot #3 + Mini-photoshoot #4 planning
Photoshoot #3: This photoshoot will be a photoshoot of an artwork I will create that represents the waste that the fashion industry creates. For this, I only need 1 photo of the art work so it won’t take long. It will also be the photoshoot accompanying an article about over-consumerism, so I hope the art work will represent it clearly. Props: The prop will either be the artwork I will make or items such as clothes or accessories for the photo. Location: I am still not sure about the location. I either want a clean background (just white or another solid colour), or out on the streets, based on what…
