First version of the magazine and feedback from audience
Firstly, I wanted to turn my magazine into a flipbook to see how it would look like. When doing this, I faced 2 problems. The first one was that I created my pages on a double-spread layout (except for the front and back cover) so when I tried to upload it into Issuu, I needed to screenshot directly in half and all my attempts into making it into a flipbook made the pages mismatched or gave it some empty space. Layout design
I used Canva for the layouts Front cover: I realised that I have most of the conventions needed in a magazine front cover (main image, masthead, selling line, barcode), but I didn’t have cover lines. Also, I will continue with the no model theme, so instead of the face, I will just write the names of the celebrities. Here are all the drawings I did based on the outfits worn by celebrities. I will also include small information about these outfits. Do you know your fashion footprint? This will be in a quiz format. Originally, I wanted it…

Writing the Editor’s note, Feature article, and Article
Editor’s note: The main aim of my editor’s note is to briefly remind or educate my readers about the current state our of environment is in, then to remind them that it is not too late to take action. Ver 1: Dear readers, I often find myself daydreaming about my future and how glamorous and wonderful it will be, but let’s be realistic. By the time I’m 45, the planet will probably be extremely damaged, and my kids will be asking me what a tiger looks like in real life. To prevent this from being our actual future, we need to act now, no matter how small our actions may…
