As Halloween passed, I managed to spot lots of remarkable costumes everywhere all weekend: in the city centre, at parties or at school. This is my favourite holiday, thats why I decided to base my preliminary work on it, because it gives people a chance to express themselves through clothes, makeup or accessories without having the fear of judgement, for one night you can be anything you want. I decided to photograph people in costumes, therefore I photographed a few friends at a house held halloween party. Even though I didn’t quite manage to get the shots on a clean/plain background, I am glad they turned out this way as it gives the photos a more natural and cozy vibe whilst the white passport-like looking background may them seem forced.
