These are some questions i asked myself to reflect on my own work.
– Comparing what you imagined in the beginning with the final work you created, is there a big or small difference?
There is a big difference since from the beginning i was still confused with what i am going to do as my final work since i had a lot of ideas flowing through my brain my main idea was a collage of pictures or jewellery in unordinary places and i think i did not go that far off but it still a difference because i tried to integrate pictures and my models into one creating an illusion of what is really there and what is not.
– If you were to do it again, what would you do the same and what would you do different?
I think i would love to keep my models, they listened and helped me very well and even if i kept them for a long time they didn’t complain or anything of the sort, they were exited and eager to be a part of this which gave me the motivation to finish. I would like to talk to my friends more openly about our ideas since there were some misunderstandings in work between our peers. If i had the chance to do it again i would take it to a completely different angle and do something handmade or self made just to see the difference between the two.
– Which skills did you learn during this project and you think might be used further on in other works?
I developed skills in new editing softwares such as affinity and canva which might come in handy for the future for knowing the tools to use if you want to change the picture entirely or just have some tweaks around and how to create a magazine with different templates and how to embed downloaded fonts from different websites to your own and what requirements you need for certain downloading or creating.
– How do you feel now at the end of this very long term project? What about its results? Are you happy with them?
I feel fulfilled and it has taken so much of my time these days which i still found very enticing to do that i think i will miss it and miss working and adding things ti my blog as well. The results have exceeded to my expectations the image in my head that i had talked about before has come to life and it looks even better, at first i wont lie i did have my doubt that it didn’t look professional enough but after showing my friends and family and getting the feedback i think they have reassured me that it will be up for the standards i have to meet.
