How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
For this question, I decided to make a poster including infographics that would help the viewers visualises how I used technologies to produce my product.
To make this poster, I used Canva and looked for an already existing template that was related to my topic.
For the text, I already wrote everything down in Google docs and then shortened it a bit for the poster but then I also included the text in this blog below the poster to get a more in depth view.

Throughout this project, I used a range of technologies including software, hardware and online resources to create and develop my magazine. Each of these played an important role in both the creative and technical aspects of the production process.
In terms of software, I mainly used Cava to design my magazine. It allowed me to organise text and images, experiment with layouts and maintain a consistent visual style across all pages.. The software also made it easier to edit and refine my work as I progressed to improve the quality of my images. I could easily adjust the brightness, contrast, colour tones, etc to ensure that all images were clear and visually consistent. This helped make the final product more polished.
For hardware, I used a camera and camera equipment such as artificial lighting, backdrop, etc. to take photographs during the photoshoot. This gave me full control over the images used in the magazine, hence allowing me to capture specific outfits, poses and cultural details. Using my own images made the magazine more original and authentic, as I was able to produce content that directly matched my theme.
In addition, I also used online resources such as Pinterest and Google to research magazine layouts, design ideas and cultural references. This helped me understand how real magazines are structured and gave me inspiration for my own designs. It also allowed me to explore different styles and refine my ideas before creating the final pages, which improved the overall quality of my work.
