About Me

Who am I?

Hii, my name is Kaavya Valse. I am a 16 year old student in Year 12 at Transylvania Collage in Cluj – Napoca, Romania. I was born in India but brought up in many different countries such as China, Singapore, France, UK, some time in India as well and now in Romania

Since the very beginning of my life I have had a very high interest in photography, dance and of my origin heritage. I have also had a very keen interest in photography. In my school in India, in 8th grade I had taken photography as one of my extra-curricular activity where I learnt the basics of photography, which spiked my interest even more. Even whenever I am on Social media I always find very beautiful pictures and short films that would inspire and motivate me to learn more about the technical and theoretical part of media and hence decided to take Media studies as one of my 3 subjects for AS

Along side photography I also love to dance and do some art. Since the age of 4 I have been performing on stages but it was in 2015 when I official started to pursue my passion. I started to learn an Indian classical dance called Bharatnatyam for a year in UK where I even gave one exam and passed but than later on in 2019 when I went to India I started to learn another type of Indian classical dance called Kathak and I have not stopped since. In kathak to I have passed 3 exams with exceptional grades

I have decided to go forward with the magazine task for my blog, where I take you all on a journey of the varied Indian Heritage
