I ended up choosing the Monday, 30th of march at approximately 1:30 pm to 2:30, at the steps at school when i had a free period and my models were free, In the morning i packed my Nikon camera but also my digital camera just in case i wanted a more retro vibe or my main camera wasn’t working. To my surprise my camera wasn’t charged well so i charged it during my first two lessons and hoped it would last, which it did.
The day before i researched how to use the shutter effect on my specific camera and thought the way i wanted to positioned taking the picture.
With this in mind, i had some complications at first with my camera on how to switch the settings, when i did figure it out it still started to look like this:
Heres me trying to position everyone in their places, and you can see the brightness on the camera is too high. When i couldn’t figure out how to do it i asked my media studies teacher whose classroom is right above to come help me which he did!
When i finally learnt how the brightness should be lower and the camera has to me let on manual these are how the pictures turned out. I then decided to switch positions so i could take it from a high angle so it looks more like my inspiration pictures. The three girls in the picture were some girls coming to visit the school and i asked if they wanted to join so i could have more people so it looks more and more full.

I then gradually asked people in the coffee shop who had a free lesson if they could join, i also asked this kid who was just walking around the school because he was wearing black clothes, and someone who was watching us from above where the media studies lesson was taking place and our teacher said yes! My main models shared their clothes with my new recruit’s and it ended being everything i wanted! These are what they ended looking like:
