Well, to film, I used my phone since I don’t own a camera, which was much better than the phone I own, so I decided to use my phone. I also wanted to buy a microphone for the audio/sound to be better. But the delivery time would have been after my flight to Ecuador, so I was not able to get one.

My uncle owns a tripod, this exact one, and it was perfect; it was just what I needed. Since I did not want the camera to move at all, because then it would have been like a handheld shot, which would not match my needs. So using this and positioning it well to have the light and everything well was perfect.

This is my phone, and the phone that I used, it is an iPhone 16. It has a really good camera, so that was helpful.

For some of the B-roll, I used a drone my dad owns, which is really good, easy to fly. Therefore, allowing me to do some of the footage.

Lastly, I used a low chair I have in Ecuador because I needed something that would keep the interviewee still and well lit.

Now this Laptop used to be my father’s work laptop, but it was getting old, so he needed to buy a new one, and I decided to take this one for myself, and use it for school, where now I am using it to study and even to learn to edit, so I can edit my documentary.

And that was all the things I needed and used. Because this is a documentary, I did not need much other equipment. Since there was not going to be any moving around, I could just choose one spot and film all 3 interviews there.
