What is a digipak? A digipak is a printed card packaging that is often used for CDs and/or DVDs. The digipak, made from cardboard stock, contains an internal plastic holder that is capable of holding one or more discs. Discs are held in place via plastic trays (flexi trays), which are glued into the digipak.

For this minor task, I intend to create a digipak for the band’s upcoming album. I will have a photoshoot for the album cover, edit the photos and then create the digipak from those photos.
Concept
The upcoming album will be titled “Death is a City”, with the concept of “What if after death, we all just went to one city?” This explores death as the great equaliser, and also the intersection of countless people who lived in different eras coming together, in this specific case the different characters in the band coming together to make music in this city.
Naturally, the album cover and digipak will need to heavily follow this theme.
