This was our final day in Dealu Botii. On this day, we focused on capturing the walking/running scenes, as well as the “Real Victim 1.0” reaction shots.
Our first setback came with the tarot cards. The night before, we had left them near the fireplace to dry off after they’d gotten wet and crusty in the snow, and in the morning, during our cleaning, we somehow lost them – what a mystical coincidence! I got sent back to find them. I spent about an hour searching every nuke and cranny of the cabin, while Mark and Carla filmed additional footage in the forest like running away etc. With limited daylight in early January, we were under high pressure to keep moving.
Finally, after desperate searching I found the cards behind the door in the corner of my room. I proceed to ran back to the forest, and from there, the day went much smoother. We didn’t have a lot left to film as we stayed in the same location as the day before.
