I have a strong passion for art and design, which has shaped the way I see the world. Traveling is my favorite way to gather new inspiration, from architecture to everyday life. It is a very important aspect for me as I enjoy observing different cultures and capturing small details that define each place. This is why photography is important to me, as it allows me to document the world through my eyes, focusing on details that reflect culture and atmosphere. Films and series are another huge part of my life, with Entergalactic, Before Sunrise, The Brutalist, Mamma Mia’ and Big Hero 6 being my top movies, while Black Mirror, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Adventure Time and Friends are my go-to series.
Instead of just words, I’d like to represent myself through the things that inspire me most right now:

previous works of mine:
Last year, for my AS Level task I made a magazine called Sonder. Sonder is a lifestyle magazine for young adults (18–35), celebrating individuality and creativity. Covering topics like fashion, travel, relationships, and photography, it aims to inspire readers with authentic stories and fresh perspectives. As it has a clean, vibrant design and photography is at its heart, Sonder stands out by promoting younger voices and diverse viewpoints. I left here a link to my post on the brand identity of Sonder, and the magazine itself is below.
Besides the magazine, I loved working on my blog last year, because it felt like my ideas were finally coming to life and it was something that I wanted to do since I was little. I put a lot of effort into making it feel personal and unique, and looking back, I’m proud of how it turned out. That’s why I’d like to share a few of my favourite posts from last year: photoshoot 2//research and planning, photoshoot 1 //research and planning, magazine analysis // ‘cene, feature article //research and planning, photoshoot 2 //outcome and preliminary work //final photo reportage.
I always had a passion for photography, but I never truly focused on it until I worked on the magazine project, where I had to learn how to use a camera properly and take high-quality photos. Some of the best pictures from the two photoshoots I did last year are featured in the magazine. Even though it was hard to learn at first and I had a lot of fails, I wanted to improve my skills so this year it would be easier to film. So, over the summer, I tried taking my camera with me more ofter and experimented with editing, which I learned last year, is almost just as important as taking the photo itself. Through this process, I feel like I have improved a lot in both shooting and editing, and I am more confident in my skills. Here are some of my favourite photos that I captured.
Art has always been a big part of my life because it allows me to express ideas and emotions in ways words sometimes cannot. Another reason why I like art so much is that it helps me understand other people, cultures, and histories. When I paint or draw or do anything artistic I forget about other worries and just focus on my work. It helps me improve my productivity and inspiration as it reduces my stress and helps me focus more. These are some of the artworks that I have done last year:

Another important thing about me is the local voluntary group I’m in. For over a year now, I’ve been part of Interact Cluj-Napoca, a voluntary group that has given me the chance to meet incredible people and form lasting friendships. In this time, I’ve built amazing connections and friendships, which makes me even more committed to promoting our group and raising awareness about our projects. Being in the PR committee means I help design and publish content for our Instagram and TikTok accounts, which has been a great way to combine creativity with teamwork. I help out a lot with the posts, and I think that I learned a lot more about design and how to manage a professional social media page through this experience. This experience has not only improved my design and social media skills, but also taught me how powerful online platforms can be in raising awareness. These skills that I have developed will help me this year to make the social media page for my documentary. Some of the posts I worked on can be seen on our Instagram page.

Since last year I made a magazine, I was inspired to showcase my summer through a photo dump series of my favourite moments:
My Sources of Influence: architects, artists, influencers, film makers

Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect and designer, best known for his philosophy of “organic architecture”, where buildings are in harmony with their environment. He inspires me to think creatively and to not be afraid of breaking conventions in my own projects.

Yann Lacroix is a painter that is known for his ethereal landscapes that blur the lines between memory and reality. He inspired me to explore the relationship between the built environment and the natural world, while looking at how personal experiences and subjective viewpoints can shape my artworks.

MrBruv (@ailbhelower) and Faye (@fayegreenwoody) are some of my favourite influencers. I like how their different styles complement each other, Faye’s cool style paired with Mrbruv’s funny and relaxed vibe. I admire how Mr bruv and Faye show their relationship in an authentic and relatable way, making their content and connection feel personal and real rather than overly staged, like most influencers feel.

Damien Chazelle a filmmaker known for his work in music-driven narratives. Two of my favourite films by Damien Chazelle are La La Land (2016) and Babylon (2022). Chazelle’s dedication to his films, especially the detail in La La Land and Babylon, shows the importance of precision and hard work in creative projects. And this inspires me to develop my own skills further and make my own ideas come true.
Through this post, I wanted to show my creativity, new skills, and inspiration. I wanted to represent where I am now and the direction I want to continue on.
