making of and behind the scenes
We ended up setting the date for Sunday, 16th of February. We met at 11 AM in the school forum and finished around 2 PM. The day before I went to a friend’s house to get the things she let me borrow. The day of the photoshoot I wake up earlier to pack everything and had a quick stop at Lidl before going to school, where I bought flowers. I got a bouquet of pink tulips and yellow roses which were only 30 lei together (6 euro) because they were at discount. Also, Catrinel brought with her some fake flowers.
After arriving I started arranging everything and putting all the things on different chairs as it made things simpler and quicker during the photoshoot. Then my teacher and another one of my colleagues started arranging the studio. While they did this our teacher explained how everything works and what each thing does more precisely. It was actually really interesting learning how you can control so many things during a photoshoot.
Since I also have a camera and I know a little bit about how things work, it was not that hard to understand how the camera works, but Mr. Calin helped me get the best results as he explained better how to set everything to get the right light. I ended up using both lenses (the zoom 70-200mm and zoom 28-70mm) and altering them between shots.

The only problem I encountered during the photoshoot was that my shoulder started hurting so bad after an hour of taking photos. To solve this we took a break for 15 minutes. It still hurt me, but it was okay since we were almost done.
I also had from time to time problems that the flashlight didn’t work as it should’ve and I got this shots:

To make sure my lighting was good and everything worked well I took some test shots before every session and also checked the photos from time to time on a laptop.
Overall it went really really well in my opinion and I love the results!!! Catrinel was perfect for this since she understood the assignment perfectly and was a natural at this.
