I could immediately spot some frames that i knew will fit in perfectly right away and a few that just didn\u2019t make the cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went through the clips from my camera roll to pick out the best ones. Some shots caught my eye right away like the one pov from when Ben wakes up and sees the ghost for the first time, even if it might have been a bit too slow for the actual cut i can fix that through editing. I stumbled upon a few takes I hadn\u2019t planned, but they had nice lighting or a bit of shake that fit the thriller mood perfectly. A couple of scenes didn\u2019t turn out like I wanted, but that helped me sift through the options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I put together a raw montage no music, no effects or heavy editing just arranged the scenes based on my rough plan so that i could see how the final might look like. I didn\u2019t stress about pacing or perfect cuts just yet as I wanted to see how everything came together before i got into it seriously. The montage is nearly the right length, but I know there\u2019s still more editing to do as the cuts aren\u2019t really put together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"272\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 480 \/ 272;\" width=\"480\" controls src=\"https:\/\/media-studies.ro\/2024\/alexandrapopa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/trim.93AD8C38-ADA0-41E6-B69D-50F38732DB8E.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While i was watching the raw cut, I saw some things I liked. The opening did a solid job of building tension, especially with the countdown and the first looks at the characters. Some transitions didn\u2019t quite hit the mark, and a few scenes felt too long nd didn\u2019t fit the vibe or too short. Overall, the structure made sense but the flow needs some tweaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, I need to focus on pacing and making sure the suspense builds just right and that the scene with the ghost girl lands perfectly.
